Tandra Page 1553, In Lincoln’s Footsteps

Visit : http://www.tandra.com

I’m sitting on my back porch looking out over the yard as the rising sun brightens the Eastern sky.

Mister Johnson came by for a visit and I fixed for him a big glass of Iced Tea. Mister Johnson parked his back side in his favourite chair while I went back to work on the next Tandra Page.He took a big swallow of tea and commented that Iced Tea tastes better, somehow, on a warm day, and the day was indeed pleasantly warm. Spring may be finally showing up, “a day late and a dollar short”, or actually several days late. The flowered tree outside my window that is normally in full bloom on April First continues to look like mid-February.

However, the warmer weather is predicted to be only temporary. The official predictors of weather are making claim that cooler temperatures will return by the weekend. So Spring is not here yet. However the calendar insists true warm weather cannot be too far off. Then we can all complain as about how hot it is rather than complaining about the cold.

But Mister Johnson was not so much concerned with a delayed Spring as he was with the screaming about Bashar Assad over in Syria. Mister Johnson cannot understand how the bureaucrats and politicians in the Beltway Swamp are so put out over Assad when their cultural hero and most beloved President, “Honest” Abraham Lincoln did the precise same thing in a grab for personal power and to centralize government control under his hand in Washington.

Lincoln apologists will make excuse that Honest Abe never used chemical weapons against the South, but that is a rather lame argument. Honest Abe did not have access to chemical weapons, which is likely the only reason they were not used. Honest Abe Lincoln had no hesitation for using every weapon at his disposal including foreign mercenary troops, starvation of Southern civilians, war against women and children. In fact Honest Abe Lincoln used every weapon he could lay hands on to bring down the South and fundamentally transform the region into a satrap of Beltway rule under Honest Abe and his cronies.

The bottom line appears to be that it is right and proper to be a war criminal if you are an icon of the Liberal Regressives, but not so much for someone Regressives do not love.

So, what else is new?
