Visit :

I’m sitting on my back porch looking out over the yard as the rising sun brightens the Eastern sky.

I’m typing this as a place holder for yesterday, which was Wednesday.

I came down with a cold on Monday evening and it was worse on Tuesday, but I managed to work most of the day. By Tuesday night I was about as sick from a cold as I have ever been. I hardly slept at all Tuesday night and, by Wednesday morning I was a total loss. I did nothing all day.

Now a cold is not a major health crisis. I mean, some people do die from colds, though the cold usually turns into pneumonia or something before they check out. Some people die of a hangnail. But, for a minor irritation, a cold can make you feel worse than about anything around.

Last night I slept about twelve hours and awoke this morning feeling pretty good.

Which is wonderful!

I will take a short two day cold that makes me feel terrible over a long drawn out cold that lasts two weeks any day, thank you. So it’s back to work and the first task on my list of things to do is posting this Observation I should have posted yesterday.

“In the fight for Liberty, you will find the most intense opposition coming at you from slaves who are comfortable in their chains!”

“They’ll know where to find me,” -Rick Blaine, “Casablanca”
