Tandra Page 1565, Done 2.0

Visit :

I’m sitting on my back porch looking out over the yard as the rising sun brightens the Eastern sky.

Or I might have titled this observation “Not Done”.

This is apparently an ongoing development. The fix I was promised for my Internet connection has proved itself more problematic than is my previous out of date connection. In fact, the dial-up connection I am presently using, the connection I have used for years until it became obsolete, is the connection I am using this morning. Unreliable as is Dial-up, it is more reliable than the Wireless I had installed yesterday and about the only other option available unless I am willing to cut down my trees for satellite service.

The basic problem is that I am “out in the sticks” away from civilization and high tech is not available here. I could, of course, move to the big city where high tech Internet connection is as common and as easily accessible as street gangs, drug deals, traffic congestion, break in burglaries, and the other benefits of modern civilization.

To date that is a price I am not willing to pay. I prefer the company of deer and racoon and squirrel to street gangs and noisy neighbours.

In the meantime, I will continue to search for a working option for Internet Connection that is reliable and is on line when I need it.

But not this weekend. I have Tandra Pages to do at my drawing board and, for that, I do not need the Internet.
