Tandra Page 1720, Regime

Visit :

I’m sitting on my back porch looking out over the yard as the rising sun brightens the Eastern sky.

I don’t remember when I began to refer to the Beltway Clown Show as a “regime”. I was not the first to do so. I remember reading that Rush Limbaugh had also made the choice to refer to the Beltway Swamp in the same manner. This was after I had decided to do so.

I don’t wish to suggest Rush decided to use the label because I made that choice. Rush never heard of me. He made the change for his own reasons and I suspect his reasons were pretty much the same as mine. In the time since, there are numerous writers and media personalities who have come to refer to the largest organized criminal institution in the world as a “regime”. Regime is not a label one applies out of respect. A “regime” is a label with which one generally identifies the corrupt assembly of politicians and bureaucrats that rule a dysfunctional Third World Country. It is not lost that so many pundits and commentators now refer to the Beltway Ruling Clique as a “regime”. While not everyone will admit in public how far this nation has fallen, and by deliberate intent, most of us realize we have become a failed state running on fumes. The United States of America that most of us love has deteriorated to a collection of warring tribes motivated by the desire to stab the other in the back.

And this open hostility between opposing pressure groups is facilitated by corrupt career politicians who see a divided nation as their best path to remain in power forever.

There are people, and I am one of them, who believe the best path for this nation is to lift the Beltway from its location on the Potomac and drop it into the deepest part of the ocean, then to start over from scratch.

Barring the physical lifting of the Beltway and dumping it into the ocean, the only other option remains to vote the whole of the corrupt Beltway Swamp from power while we still can and before they install themselves permanently into position.
